The Canon EOS Rebel T100/4000D is a simple DSLR with a cropped sensor. It doesn’t have many extra features or bells and whistles. It can’t record in 4K, and there aren’t many physical controls. It’s a good entry-level camera for the price, with a good sensor and an okay autofocus system, as well as a lot of great, affordable lens options. However, it shows that it’s a cheap camera by being made of plastic and having a low-resolution screen.
The EOS Rebel T100 can take pretty good pictures, but sometimes they aren’t as good as they could be. This digital camera has a native ISO range of 100–6400, which isn’t very wide. If you shoot in JPEG format, you’ll notice noise at any stops above 1600. Up to ISO 6400, RAW photos are better, but the camera can only make six RAW files at once. Even so, that’s better than the Canon EOS 800D’s maximum of four.

Where to get Canon EOS Rebel T100 camera?
Because the Rebel T100’s autofocus is slow, it has a hard time following moving objects. This makes it pretty much useless for action shots. In that case, you might want to look at other Canon models like the Canon EOS Rebel SL3, the Canon IVY Cliq, and the Canon PowerShot ELPH 180.
The Canon EOS Rebel T100 is a cheap camera, and you can tell by how it’s made. The whole body is made of plastic, and some reviewers say it feels kind of cheap. Even the mount for the lens is made of plastic, so anyone who plans to switch lenses often should choose something else. Canon also didn’t add a thumb rest to the back, which could make it harder for some people to hold. The Rebel T100 is not sealed against the weather like some of its competitors, so you should keep it out of the rain and snow. There are much better options when it comes to how long something will last.
The Rebel T100 also does a great job with its battery life. You can take about 500 pictures on a single charge of the battery, which is more than some much more expensive cameras can do. Even cameras like the Nikon D3500 Digital SLR and the Nikon Z50, which we’ve rated higher, can’t quite live up to that number.
Beginner photographers should still be aware of the different things that can lower this number, such as the temperature, using the LCD screen, and the age of the battery. Using Wi-Fi to send photos to your phone will also use up more battery life, so it’s too bad that this camera doesn’t also have the Bluetooth option, which uses less power.
