The OnePlus Nord N200 5G seems like a great deal for a high-quality phone, but it’s only being sold in the US and Canada at launch, which is strange. The new phone is the successor to the N100. It has a sleek design and a fairly good screen for watching videos, which you can do for hours thanks to the huge 5,000mAh battery. On the downside, its average specs sometimes cause problems in performance, and its cameras don’t do much of anything different. However, this is a great phone for anyone who doesn’t need cutting-edge performance or high-quality photos.
The Nord N200 feels and looks like a phone that costs more. It has a beautiful blue-ish, dark aquamarine-colored soft plastic back. The three cameras are in the top left corner, and they look a little bit like the section from the OnePlus 9 series. It’s nice to see that the design language for both types of products is the same.

The 6.49-inch LCD screen is in the front, and the selfie camera is in the top left corner. The OnePlus Nord N200 5G has very thin edges around the screen. Even though it has a big 5,000 mAh battery inside, the phone as a whole feels quite slim. The USB-C port, speaker, and headphone jack are all on the bottom of the phone. If you still use wired 3.5mm headphones or aux cords in your car, this is good news for you. The Nord N200 has two SIM card slots and a mini SD card slot on top.
The fingerprint reader is right next to the power button on the right side of the N200. It works pretty well, in my experience. Some of you might like this better than a scanner built into the screen of a more expensive phone, since you won’t have to touch the screen to get in. The N200 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G smartphone platform and 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of storage on board, and about 48GB of that is usable right away. With a microSD card, you can add up to 1TB of extra space.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G platform is similar to its Snapdragon 678 middle chipset, which is used in more expensive phones like Motorola’s Moto G Stylus. The N100 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC, while the Galaxy A32 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. The 480 5G is a big step up from the 460 because it has a better set of instructions, more memory speed, and, of course, a 5G modem.
