The TOZO NC2 are genuinely wireless headphones with a solid build. They have a battery life of over 10 hours and come with a case that can contain around three more charges. Their sound profile is somewhat v-shaped, so your music has more bass and punch, yet instruments and vocals sound clear and present. Unfortunately, there is no EQ for customising their sound.
Similar to other models from Amazon’s most popular brand, the Tozo NC2 seems and feels generic and inexpensive. The matte-black shell is slightly larger than the AirPods Pro case, yet it is still small enough to fit effortlessly in your pocket. The bottom of the case features a USB-C connector and four LED indicators that indicate the remaining battery life. Additionally, the case may be wirelessly charged. The outside of the earphones has a shiny finish and a short stem. These earbuds have an oval interior, and after a slight twist, they fit snugly and comfortably in your ears. The stems aim precisely at your cheeks without brushing against them. The IPX6 waterproof rating should allow them to endure both rain and perspiration.
Basic connectivity is likewise excellent, with speedy pairing and a strong signal up to 9 to 10 metres away. When one of the buds is removed from the ear, music playback automatically pauses and resumes when it is placed back into the ear. Charging the earphones takes approximately 90 minutes, so downtime is rarely an issue. The charging case may be charged using the provided USB Type-C connection in approximately 90 minutes. It is also compatible with Qi wireless chargers as an option. This will result in a slower charging rate, although many individuals prefer this convenience.
Bluetooth 5.2 allows the NC2 earbuds to connect to your phone or MP3 device. This is the most recent upgrade to Bluetooth 5.0, which enables dual-channel connections. On devices that support it, each earbud will have its own signal for even lower latency. On earlier devices, the buds will still function normally; however, you will be unable to utilise this feature. Moreover, these earbuds are equipped with optical sensors that can identify when they are inserted. When you remove them, your music will automatically pause and resume when you reinsert them.
The Transparency setting immediately permits a great deal of wind noise to enter. Inconsistent suppression of wind noise using the ANC mode. Sometimes there is almost little wind noise, while at other times even a breeze can be audible. When exercising or cycling with the NC2, it is best to leave the ANC unmodified in order to avoid wind noise. In any case, once it has been activated, it cannot be deactivated.
