Only some people need a full-fledged desktop PC; however, that doesn’t mean a laptop is the only alternative. A mini PC fits ideally into this niche in between, offering just enough power to run standard productivity software without needing oversized cases or extra fans. The problem is that some micro-sized offerings can match the price of a regular computer and more.
That’s where Geekom comes in, with its MiniAir 11 PC with a huge variety of support for high-speed external storage, all sitting neatly behind your monitor with an included VESA mount or discreetly taking up a small footprint on your workstation.
The MiniAir 11 has a lone configuration with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. The PC has an Intel Celeron N5095 CPU and a quad-core budget chip. You can upgrade both RAM and SSD if you wish. All of this costs $229. However, at the time of writing, Geekom has a sale on its website where you purchase the MiniAir 11 for only $179 Price, which is an absolute bargain. To avail of this offer, you must use the $50 off code: XMAIR11A to get a discount. You can also get the MiniAir 11 Special Edition for $199, whereas the original is $249.
The MiniAir 11 looks like Geekom’s other mini PCs. Although the exterior is mainly molded plastic, the weight of this device feels more substantial than others we’ve evaluated. Both sides have some ventilation, and another vent is above the rear ports. At the top, the MiniAir 11 features simple Geekom and Intel logos.
The MiniAir 11 has an incredibly good port selection for an entry-level PC. You’ll get a single USB-C port with USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, a combo audio jack, and a power button on the front. Along the left side is the full-size SD card slot. On the back, the MiniAir 11 has another pair of USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, another USB-C port, gigabit Ethernet, Mini DisplayPort and HDMI ports, and the power adapter jack.
The MiniAir 11 is equipped with an 11th-generation Intel Celeron N5095 processor and relies on its inbuilt graphics (Intel’s UHD 605). DDR4 SODIMM modules are used as working RAM, and an M.2 SATA SSD drive is used for storage. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.0 makes the home office neater, and the preloaded Windows 11 Pro proved surprisingly agile. The MiniAir 11 also impresses with its software, especially since it comes with Windows 11 Pro. That’s wild for such an affordable mini PC.
Overall, the Geekom MiniAir 11 is a mini PC that is made for pretty much everyone. It is small, cheap, easy to use, and capable of performing most tasks the average person would throw at it. Any consumer could benefit from this, especially in niche scenarios.
