Step To Lock Chrome Profile With Password

Step 1. First, Open Google Chrome, type the following text in the URL address, and press enter.

Step 2. Select Enabled from the drop-down under NPM, and select Enabled.

Step 3. Click on Relaunch to apply the Changes.

Step 4. Select Settings from the drop-down menu on the right-hand corner of your screen. Once Chrome has reopened, Settings now opens in a new Tab.

Step 6. Within the dialogue box, to add the person, type in the new person’s name and tick each box on the left of this individual Add screen. You could change the picture for this new person if you want, then click on Add.

Step 7. You get a display informing you that this new person is now a supervised user. Now you can click on ‘Okay, got it.’

Step 8. Now while you click on your profile, you can choose “Exit and child lock” to lock your profile. If you wish to lock your profile, you need to should click on the “Exit and child lock” button. Otherwise, your profile is not locked. It means that should you usually close your Chrome window; your profile will be unlocked.

Step 9. The next time you open chrome with your profile, it asks for your password. You only enter your email password to unlock your profile.
