- At the bottom of the panel, hit “Clear”, and choose a timeframe, e.g. “The Last Hour”, “Today”, “Today & Yesterday”, or “All Time”.
- You can also delete individual entries by swiping left on a URL, then taping “Delete”.
If your device is running on the older iOS 10 software, the process is almost the same but follows a slightly different method:
- Open Safari, and tap the bookmarks icon at the bottom or top of the screen (depending on your device).
- Tap history at the top of your bookmarks list.
- Tap “Clear”, choose a time frame or swipe left on an item to delete it.
Delete Your Entire Browsing History
If you want to clear your entire browsing history, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings, then select Safari.
- Scroll down to “Clear History & Website Data”, tap it, and then select “Clear History and Data” to confirm.
Note that this removes cookies and clears other browsing data. If you’d like to keep your cookies, then follow the steps above and choose the “Clear History” option which clears out all of your browsing history.
