If you can Send Mass Email in Gmail at once. We’ll show you how and tell you why it’s better to use email marketing software. Gmail has been used for personal communication for a long time, but now that Google has more comprehensive and flexible apps like Drive, Classroom, and Docs, people are looking for ways to connect with more people than ever.
With these new ways to share, create, and work, Google has made it easy for people to take their programs one step further and use its platform for business use as well. You can also go to the official Gmail support site to know more information about this.
As more and more businesses work from home, getting in touch with clients and target markets online is quickly becoming a top priority. Some businesses might find it hard to set up an online presence because they don’t know how to get their messages and news about their business out to the public.
Ways to Send Mass Email in Gmail
Set up your Google spreadsheet
For GMass to use a Google spreadsheet, you need to make it in plain text. For the best results, it’s important to set up the rows and columns correctly.
- Column names like FirstName, LastName, EmailAddress, Company, and others should be in the first row. There shouldn’t be any spaces or special characters in column names. If your Sheet has a column called “First Name,” for example, you should get rid of the space and call it “FirstName.“
- You should start the second row with the real data.
- Email addresses should be in at least one column. GMass will figure out that this column is the recipient address column and use it automatically.
Creating templates in Gmail
Google Labs used to be a place where Google fans could try out new features and give Google direct feedback. People have been asking, “Where did Google Labs go?” It hasn’t gone anywhere. Google just added it to the section of your G Suite called “Advanced Settings.” Here, you can choose to use templates for messages you send often and use other small features you might not know about.
- Head to Gmail and open “Mail Settings” in the top right corner by clicking the ⚙️ icon.
- Hit “See all settings”.
- Find the “Advanced” tab.
- Enable the templates option.
- Don’t forget to hit “Save Changes”
Build your email list
You can make a mailing list with Gmail contacts, or if you already have one, you can move on to step 2.
- Click the Google apps button at the top-right, next to your account icon, and click Contacts.
- In Google Contacts, export all or some of your contacts to a CSV file. Then, upload the CSV file to a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
- After you’re done making your spreadsheet, clean it up by getting rid of any columns that aren’t needed. If you don’t, your spreadsheet might have too much data for GMass to handle. So just get rid of all the blank columns.
Log in to your Gmail account and connect Google spreadsheet with GMass
- Open Gmail and log in. You will see a “Google Sheets” symbol next to the Gmail search box.
- You’ll see a drop-down list of spreadsheets in a pop-up window. If you just joined GMass.
- After you choose the spreadsheet, the To line of the Compose window will show all of the people you want to send the message to. If you have more than 1,000 addresses, GMass will combine them into one “alias” address (shown below) that represents all of them.
Benefits of Sending Mass Emails in Gmail
If you use an email service like Mailchimp to send a lot of emails, less people will open them. Mailboxes like Gmail and Outlook put messages sent in bulk by email service providers like Mailchimp in a tab called “Promotions” or “Other.”
Also, many email marketing platforms, like Mailjet and Sendinblue, give out shared IP addresses that are used by hundreds of people to send emails. If a user’s mailbox or email provider (like Gmail) flags a shared IP address because another sender complained about spam, that address’s IP reputation goes down.
So, even if you send unsolicited emails from that shared IP address, they will end up in the spam folder of the recipient, which is not your fault. If you send your cold emails directly from Gmail, your emails are more likely to get through because Gmail’s sending IP address is the most trusted and used in the world.
GMass users send emails using Gmail’s IP address, which is different from Mailchimp and other similar services. GMass has a much higher delivery rate than the other top email services because it manages how your mass emails are sent to each person in Gmail and adds personal touches.
