Step 1. First of all, launch the Google play store app on your android device.

Step 2. Now swipe out the navigation drawer on the left-hand side on the play store.

Step 3. Click on settings.

 Step 4. Tapping on this option will provide you with 3 options seems like below
  • Don’t auto-update apps
  • Auto-update apps at any time. Data Charges may apply and
  • Auto-update apps over WiFi only.

Step 5. Here choose ‘Auto-update apps’ which will state the modern setting of this function. If you never want to update the apps then choose don’t auto update apps.
