How to use USB security keys with your google account

Google is a huge network and today we’re using its lots of services in our daily life like its search engine, Play store services for android, gmail services and many more. Now to login into our google account we use our username and password to sign in and the person who is more aware of security must use two-step verification for its account. And at 2-step verification you generally put your mobile verification, but what if you at that place where your mobile signals gained work then you’ll be surely in trouble.

Now you can use your USB Pendrive as a login device and there will be no need to enter password to login into any of your google account, You just need to insert your USB in PC and login into your account. Yes, this is possible with a simple way that I’ve discussed in this article How to use USB security keys with your google account by just following the below steps.

Step 1. First of all, log into your google account & go to my account.

Step 2. Now click on Sign in & Security.

Step 3. Now go to two-step verification and enable it if you not enable it till now.

Step 4. Now click on start setup and then login into your account with password.

Step 5. Now enable this verification by confirming the code.

Step 6. Now click on Security Keys option there and the click on add security key.

Step 7. Now click on register option and insert your USB drive.

Step 8. After registering click on done button and your USB gmail verification will be activated.

Step 9. That’s it! Now you don’t need to confirm your message received on your mobile, Now you just enter your username and password and insert your USB and you’ll get login into your account at any desktop or laptop.
