The ACEMAGIC AX15 Laptop, and I must say it’s great. Just over 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg) in weight, this sleek and light machine has an incredibly thin profile, measuring only 0.66 inches thick. Thanks to the latest Intel 12th generation Alder Lake N95 chip, this laptop really shines in terms of how well it works. It worked amazingly fast and efficiently for my jobs and program thanks to its 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB SSD.
The 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS screen with a thin bezel gave you bright images and a great watching experience. The 720P 0.9 MP front camera at the top of the screen makes video calls and conferences clear. It’s great for work or play. A nice typing experience is provided by the keyboard on the base, which has 95 keys and a number pad. The screen works well, which makes it easy to move around.
The 38000 mWh battery in the laptop worked well for me, letting me use it for a long time without having to charge it often. The laptop also works well when it comes to connecting to other devices. It has USB ports, an HDMI port, an audio jack, and a TF slot that can hold up to 128 GB of extra storage. This makes it flexible and able to meet a range of needs.

Acemagic AX15 Laptop review: Design
Looking at the X15 for the first time, it seems like a slim and stylish laptop that might cost a lot. It has a big keyboard with a number pad, a big touchpad that’s 130 mm wide, and a 15.6-inch IPS screen with thin edges. When you touch the metal skin on the outside, it feels a little cold, like when you touch expensive gear. Acemagic says that the opening can turn 180 degrees, but ours wouldn’t lay flat, so I think they’re exaggerating.
There are some pretty good viewing angles on the IPS screen, but not enough to make it useful when it’s almost flat. There is a MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two USB-A ports on the right. One is USB 3.2 Gen 1 and the other is USB 2.0. There is an HDMI 1.4 port, two USB-C ports, and another USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port on the left. One of the Type-C ports is USB 3.2 Gen 1 compliant, and the other is only used for charging.
It’s a shame that the charge port doesn’t work as a USB port. The one that will move the data doesn’t work with DisplayPort over USB either. This laptop does not have any USB-C ports that are fast enough to handle 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2). All computers should have at least one of these ports.
Acemagic AX15 Laptop review: Display and Keyboard
With a Full HD resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, the 15.6-inch thin-bezel IPS Brightview display provides an immersive watching experience, perfect for people who like to stream, game, or do more than one thing at once. Its clever design makes the screen area bigger while keeping the total size small. Not that we think it’s as good as or even close to the screens on higher-end computers like the M1 MacBook Air, which is currently on sale, but it’s definitely better than what you’d expect for the price.
Acemagic AX15 Laptop review: Performance
It’s possible to surf the web or do other small tasks on most PCs while they update, but not this one. When you launch a download and then download another one, the system runs out of clock cycles so quickly that apps stop responding to the pointer at all. These delays at the beginning can be annoying, but they can happen at any time while you’re trying to work if you leave the system set to automatically download and install.
One thing that was different about this system from those made by well-known companies is that Windows 11 Pro didn’t come with any extra software or apps. It’s clear that the goal was to improve the user experience at first, since those apps won’t need to be updated, but it made Windows 11 look surprisingly empty. We wish more artists got rid of their waste, but Windows without apps is a big change.
Acemagic AX15 Laptop review: Connectivity, Webcam, and Battery Life
The ACEMAGIC AX15 has a lot of ways to join. To be exact, there are two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, and one USB Type-C port. It also has an HDMI port and a TF card reader that can handle cards up to 128 GB in size. The Wi-Fi connection is also pretty good, with dual-band 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 support. There is an HD camera (720p resolution) when it comes to the webcam. To be honest, it’s not worth bragging about.
The quality is fine, but if you want the best picture quality for your videoconference, you should get a separate camera. Based on how you use it, the battery should last anywhere from 5 to 7 hours before it needs to be charged again. It’s not terrible, but it’s also not great. Acemagic has also added fast charging technology, which means the laptop can be fully charged in just 2.5 hours.
Acemagic AX15 Laptop review: Memory and Storage
The AX15 has a large desk and 16GB of DDR4 RAM, which makes it easy to switch between tasks, run memory-intensive program, and do more than one thing at once. Multitaskers will love it. DDR4 isn’t just about size; it’s also about speed. There is about a 50% speed increase in performance between this machine and older DDR3 systems.
This is clear in real life, where apps load quickly, switching between jobs goes more smoothly, and there are almost no “hanging” moments. Storage, on the other hand, tells you how much information, software, movies, and files you can put on your laptop. A 512GB M.2 SSD is built into the ACEMAGIC AX15, which is like having a vault that is always ready to go.
Final Words
I started off the assessment by drawing parallels between the ACEMAGIC AX15 laptop and a more affordable automobile. How many more cars are there in total? Off-road vehicles, on the other hand, are somewhat analogous to a laptop computer that has been ruggedized. These automobiles and laptops are typically very expensive, and they might be challenging to operate on a day-to-day basis.
Having a racing car with a larger engine, which is analogous to having a laptop with a faster processor and components, can allow for the vehicle to reach speeds that are far higher than average. These automobiles and laptops can be rather pricey, therefore the owners take extra precautions to ensure that they are properly maintained throughout their ownership.
Acemagic AX15 Laptop review: The Good and Bad
It is a design that has been wonderfully engineered and has numerous characteristics that are worth praising. However, it is quite easy for Windows 11 to overpower it, and the SATA SSD did not help maximise what the AX15 could give in terms of storage capacity or performance.
The Good
- Powerful Intel Alder Lake N95 processor
- 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage
The Bad
- Mediocre display
Questions and Answers
Although the Acemagic AX15 laptop is not the quickest laptop available, it is powerful enough to handle the duties that are performed on a daily basis. It is completely capable of managing tasks such as web browsing, email, and productivity software without any issues. It may have difficulty with activities that are more demanding, such as gaming or video editing.
The battery life of the Acemagic AX15 laptop can be extended to a maximum of 8 hours on a single charge. The majority of users should be able to get a full day’s worth of use out of this level of battery life, which is sufficient for going to work or school.
