Audio Pro is in a great situation because they made the Addon C10, which is one of our favorite wireless speakers. Since it came out three years ago, it has won three Awards in a row for its price range. Since then, the Swedish company has made a follow-up called the Addon C10 MkII, which has a name that makes sense. It has improved functionality, sound quality, and design, and it has won multiple awards.
With the C10 MkII, Audio Pro adds AirPlay 2 and Google Cast streaming capabilities to the original model’s list of features, which included Bluetooth, AirPlay, aux and RCA inputs, and access to music streaming services over wi-fi.
The C10 MkII can be used in a multi-room setting in three ways: with Apple devices through AirPlay 2, with Google Cast-compatible speakers through the built-in Chromecast, and with other Audio Pro wireless speakers through Audio Pro’s own app.

Design and Setup

The C10 MkII is big for a portable speaker. It is 166mm tall, 320mm wide, and 180mm deep. It’s also quite heavy at 3.9kg, but its size and weight give the sense that it’s well made. The sample we looked at was gray, but you can also get it in black and white. The grey one probably stands out the most from the other two because the Audio Pro logo and the buttons on the top of the unit are done in gold. Also, the feet it stands on are angled up to help send sound into a room.
The original model didn’t have a magnetic fabric grille that you could take off, but the new model does. You can now choose between the koala-like look of the speaker drivers staring at you or a stylish mesh grille that you can easily take off. The speaker also doesn’t have a handle anymore, which makes it harder to lift and put down. You can buy this speaker from its official website
Audio Pro C10 MkII: Sound Quality

The two tweeters and long-throw woofer in the Audio Pro C10 MkII give the sound a lot of power, making it sound heavy. We wouldn’t say that the bass has a lot of depth, but it does have a lot of size. It’s also not a performance that fills a room. Instead, the tone and delivery are more punchy and strong.
Since the speaker has a bass port in the back, it’s best to put it with its back against a wall instead of out in the open. When it is placed with a surface behind it, the bass is better defined, and the speaker as a whole has a tighter focus, better clarity and detail, and a more organized image.
Final Words
When we tried the first C10, we put it up against models that cost almost twice as much as it did, and it did better than them. We’re happy to say that the case for getting a C10 still stands. If you can only spend £500 ($500), it will be hard to find a speaker that comes close to the Audio Pro C10 MkII’s performance. We miss the handle, but we can’t complain about the three choices for streaming in more than one room, the stronger bass, or the better hi-fidelity performance.
