iQOO Neo 7 review 2024: fast and furious

iQOO has decided to market itself as a smartphone brand that focuses on performance. Its products, which now come in different price ranges, have always surprised me, especially in terms of how much they help. Focusing less on iQOO’s flagship lineup, the Neo series is aimed at a more budget-conscious crowd.

The main rear camera on the iQoo Neo 7 5G can record up to 4K video at 60 frames per second. It does a good job with colors and details, but it needs to do a better job with the dynamic range. The front camera can only record video in 1080p at 30 frames per second, and it gives priority to the subject’s brightness and focus, so the dynamic range suffers.

The company has made a new Vlog mode with a few templates to help users record movies with the front or back camera. Users can make a vlog by taking several short videos. You can use filters in this mode, though some of them need to be downloaded separately.

MediaTek gave the Neo7 its new Dimensity 8200 SoC, making it the first device to have this SoC. It uses a 4nm CPU, which makes it more energy efficient than last year’s Diemnsity 8100. Benchmark numbers show how well the Neo7 actually performs.

The iQOO Neo 7 has the Dimensity 8200 chipset, which is a very powerful chip that can easily handle most jobs. The iQOO Neo 7 is very smooth and quick to use every day. All apps open and close in a flash, and the changes between them are very fast. In terms of raw speed, the Dimensity 8200 is about the same as a Snapdragon 888+. It is also very good at managing power. No matter what we did to the iQOO Neo 7, it didn’t even break a sweat.

The iQOO Neo 7 is a good multimedia and gaming phone for the price. It is a good follow-up to the Neo 6 because it has a bigger battery and charges faster while keeping the same price. Even the back camera works well during the day and has OIS, but it doesn’t have an ultra-wide camera.
