It provides a simple alternative for customers who are constantly on the move thanks to its lightweight design and its exceptional battery life. The 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor offers a fluid performance, while the 17-inch IPS LCD display delivers clear graphics for the user.
The 1 terabyte solid-state drive (SSD) offers a generous amount of storage capacity, and the numerous connectivity choices simplify the process of connecting various devices. However, there is a problem with the display resolution, and the laptop does not have a graphics card that is devoted to it. LG Gram 17 (2023): Design
In shiny silver letters, the word “gram” is right in the middle of the lid. Even though the style is pretty simple, we like how conservative and simple it feels. The only thing we don’t like is how easy it is to get fingerprints on the magnesium-alloy body.
When you open the box, you’ll see more of the same simple black design. On the bottom edge of the screen, there is an LG logo. The size’s bezels aren’t very thick, but the top one is so it can fit a 1080p camera.
On the bottom, there are two speakers and three rubber feet, two of which are round on both edges and one of which is long and parallel to the hinge. The Gram 17 also has a big air vent to keep it cool. You can buy this laptop from its official website
LG Gram 17 (2023): Display
The LG Gram 17 has a huge 17-inch screen that can’t be touched. It has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, which is better than 1080p but not as good as 4K. It also has a 16:10 aspect ratio. Even though a 17-inch screen is already huge, the fact that it has a 4:3 aspect ratio instead of the more common 16:9 version makes it even bigger.
The LG Gram is interesting because its screen has a changeable refresh rate. Depending on what you’re doing, it can go as low as 31Hz or as high as 144Hz. This should help the battery last longer, but we’ll talk more about that later.
LG Gram 17 (2023): Audio
The LG Gram 17 boasts two Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers, allowing users to enjoy 360-degree surround sound. To test if LG’s claims regarding the Gram 17’s surround-sound were accurate, we launched the Spotify app.
Post Malone’s “Chemical” played when we cranked up the Hot Hits USA music. The bottom-mounted speakers sounded quite good. The alternative-pop rhythm complements the rock star’s silky voice nicely. To our pleasant surprise, the Dolby Atmos audio format actually achieves the desired effect of immersing the listener in the soundscape.
LG Gram 17 (2023): Performance
Review unit’s 13th Gen Intel CPU, GeForce RTX 3050 laptop GPU, and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM make it more than capable of handling daily tasks and light gaming. we regular work involves listening to music, watching movies, and having many browser windows open with 30+ tabs each; this ultraportable handled all of that with ease. We enjoy being able to boot up Steam in the evenings and play a few missions of Marvel’s Midnight Suns before supper, even if this means settling for 30 frames per second and a few visual sacrifices.
LG Gram 17 (2023): Battery Life
The LG Gram 17 has excellent battery life for a Windows laptop. The battery life of Windows laptops can be improved, but usually at the expense of performance. The Lenovo ThinkPad X13s, for instance, has a GeekBench 5 multi-core score of only 2722 despite boasting a battery life of over 18 hours. Most customers will be happy with the Gram 17’s compromise between speed and battery life.
Final Words
The spacious keyboard and wide screen make working and surfing the web a pleasure, while the high quality display and stereo speakers are ideal for relaxing with a movie. Playing games requires lowering the settings on this laptop to take use of the high framerates that a 144Hz display can provide, but the power of a midrange 13th Gen Intel CPU and GeForce RTX 3050 GPU make it possible.
However, wwe can’t give this laptop my wholehearted endorsement because of a few issues. For one, the power cable is ridiculously short, which is especially annoying given how well the rest of the laptop is constructed.
LG Gram 17 (2024) review: The good and The bad

Questions and Answers
“The LG Gram 17 Pro is fast, has a long-lasting battery, and has a display with enough colors for artists. But it isn’t very reliable, and its input methods aren’t very good.” LG’s Gram line is mostly about making laptops that are thin and light but still have good speed and a long battery life.
The LG gram 17 is a good computer for school. It’s a well-made laptop with a sturdy frame. Even though it’s big, it’s still portable because it’s made to be light. Its charger is small enough to fit in most bags, but you probably won’t need it since the battery lasts for 13 hours of light work.
