Chinese smartphone Meizu maker will not be well-known outside of its homeland. However, the company has received its huge fans list in China, due to iPhone-inspired designs for Meizu products. The Meizu’s MX6 launched in this week in Beijing.
That said, the Meizu phone does have its differences. Like, the rear 12-megapixel camera is located in the center, which makes it less likely your finger will by chance block your shot compared to the iPhone. It also serves as a fingerprint scanner. You may be confused what I mean about that — instead of pressing down on the button like you do the iPhone, you only want to touch the button once. It takes a while to get, however when you do, it’s quite simple to navigate the Meizu Flyme OS, Tthe Meizu phone is a customized version of Android 6.0.
I do like the design of Flame. Meizu has put in lots of effort to make the UI design stand out compared to different Chinese Android skins and it shows. Every icon gets its beautiful flat look. The result’s a UI that matches the iPhone-ish looks and could be something Apple wouldn’t mind having in its phones.
Overall, the build and high quality of the MX6 impressed, and I think the phone has what it takes to do nicely. It looks like plenty of Chinese fans thinks the same thing too.
