When it comes to design, the word “premium” can indicate a few different things, but most of the time it refers to a “X-factor” that makes a product feel more expensive than its price tag. For earbuds, this may mean making them out of metal or adding a small embossment to give them a sense of sophistication that is only limited by the designer’s creativity.

Sennheiser, Geekfly, Sony, HiBy, and Noble Audio are just a few of the companies that fall under this category. The emphasis is placed on various aspects depending on the manufacturer, such as LDAC from HiBy and ANC from Sony. In the case of the brand-new Fokus Pro from Noble, the emphasis appears to be placed mostly on how far one can come to replicating the feeling of wearing wired IEMs wirelessly.
Noble Fokus Pro review: Sound Quality
So now comes the big question: if everything depends on how well the Noble Fokus Pro sound, do they live up to their promise? The answer is, thankfully, yes. These buds sound absolutely great. The size of the soundstage is clear from the first time you listen to it. Everything feels big and open, and even on tracks with a lot going on, it’s simple to find each instrument.
This is especially good for sumptuous orchestral arrangements, so if you like classical music, you can be sure that these will work well for you. The bass, which is deep, round, and powerful, adds to the good impression. There are a lot of punk, dance, EDM, and rock songs, and the Fokus Pro is a pleasant way for everyone to listen to music.

It doesn’t have as long of a battery life as the Falcon Pro, but it’s still excellent. Noble says they last 7.5 hours at 50% volume, however we usually listened to them at 30–40% volume because they are still fairly loud. Still, we got about 7 hours and 45 minutes of sleep, so it’s still quite nice. Since the design of the Fokus Pro has changed, it no longer has an IP classification. Noble believes it can still handle sweaty workouts, but it’s not a good idea to wear them in the rain or the shower.
Final Words
The Noble Fokus Pro don’t change that, but they do bring up some interesting ideas. They might not have some of the niceties that their competitors have, but they sound great, have a long battery life, and block out noise well. If you want a high-end pair of earphones, they should be at the top of your list—unless you run a lot in the rain or just want something cheaper. With the Fokus Pro, Noble has hit the jackpot.
