Design and assembly
The frame of the OdinLake Ergo PLUS 743 is made of a shiny silver aluminum alloy. The plastic parts are made of fiberglass nylon plastic, and the handles and wheels are made of PU leather. The seat, backrest, and neck rest, on the other hand, are all made of a strong rubber mesh. Together, they make this chair strong enough to hold up to 350 pounds, which is a lot. With a range of 18.5 to 22.5 inches for the seat height, it works for most people, even those who are 6’8″ tall.
But if you’re shorter than five feet, you might not be able to reach the floor even when this chair is at its lowest setting. The seat itself is 18.5 x 20.5 inches, which is big enough for most people. But this isn’t the most roomy chair we’ve tried either. If you’re on the bigger side and want a little more room, you might want to look for a bigger choice. Odinlake Ergo Plus 743: Comfort and adjustability
In the last few weeks, it’s been fun to use the Ergo Plus. The chair smoothly tilts back, rolls easily, is comfy even for long periods of time, has mesh that lets air in, supports our lower backs, and has some other cool features. This chair has been great from the start. It’s comfortable all day, which helped us get more work done. If we wanted to move it out of the way and stand at our favorite standing desk, the casters moved smoothly, even on shorter rugs. It took us a day or two to get all of the settings right for the main user in the office, but once we did, we haven’t had to change anything since.

It’s hard to say enough about how important being able to change the back and seat are. By being able to raise or lower the seat, you can make the chair fit your body and make the ergonomic tricks work.
Price and availability
The OdinLake Ergo PLUS 743 is offered in the US, but OdinLake does not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico. It usually sells for $999, but at the time this article was written, it was on sale for $799. Customers in the UK and Australia are out of luck because this chair is only sold in the US.
That’s a pricey piece of gear, especially since there are cheaper options out there, like the $549 Branch Verve Chair, which is one of our faves. To be fair, the Verve does have fewer functions and ways to change it. We found it to be very comfortable, though, and it was much easier to change the backrest.
