Proscenic M8 Pro review 2024: Excellent scheduling

The M8 Pro robot vacuum cleaner from Proscenic is able to successfully combine a plethora of high-end functions with a pricing that is decidedly more in the middle of the range. It is a laser-guided hybrid cleaner that can vacuum and mop, and although costing less than £500, it boasts powerful navigation features, as well as a charging station that empties it automatically.

Other characteristics include the ability to vacuum and mop hard floors. Although its cleaning performance isn’t the finest we’ve tested, it is an outstanding bargain – especially considering that we’ve seen it discounted to closer to £400. Even though it was hard to set up the app at first, it was easy to handle the robot once it was all set up. It cleans up and down each room in a sensible way, and you can see where it’s cleaned on the app. As with most of the other robot vacuums we’ve looked at, it can miss some debris, and the rotating side brush can push bigger things like oats out of its way. But the floors were cleaner and most of the dirt was picked up. After two cleans in a row, almost all visible waste was picked up. Like most robot vacuums, it works best if it is set to clean several times a week.

The dirt was collected from the sides of the room pretty well, but it didn’t get into the corners. We were happy to see that even though it moves quickly, it doesn’t smash into furniture. Instead, it gently bumps into it and then quickly turns away and goes a different way. It also did a good job of getting from a hard floor to a long-pile area rug and not going down the stairs.

The Proscenic M8 Pro is the top of the line and most expensive model available from the company. One of the high-end robot vacuums, the Proscenic M8 Pro has a lot of advanced features. It has a bin that empties itself, a mopping feature that can get rid of tough spots, strong suction power, and three ways to control it (an app, a remote control, and voice control). However, all of these features come at a high price, and the robot isn’t perfect.

It has one of the biggest suction powers, up to 3000Pa, which is more than the Proscenic M7 PRO, which only has 2700Pa. This suction power can clean both small and big pieces of dirt. It also has a “carpet boost” feature that can automatically make the suction stronger when it finds rugs, which need more suction power. But when it’s cleaning, it makes a loud noise that can make it hard to talk.
