This is especially a problem with the power switch, which is far removed from the rest of the buttons and feels uncomfortable to push back and forth. The Pulse 3D headset excels at making its wearer feel at ease. It’s comfortable to wear all day because of the circular ear pads and how little heat they generate. The headphones come with an adjustable ski-style headband that keeps them in place. The only thing they’re missing are adjustable earcups. There is no way to adjust the position of the pendants so that they lie fully flat for storage or so that they can be worn around the neck.
However, access to the keys is more challenging. The mic mute, mic monitor, and on/off button, as well as the volume controls, chat/music mix, and mic mute, are all located in a single little row on the left cup. Finding the precise slider, button, or rocker you need when time is of the essence can be a challenge.
