The 12GB of memory made it easy to switch between apps and do other things at the same time. Apps opened almost quickly, and we could swipe and scroll without any lag. In our benchmark tests, it did much better than the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, especially when it came to GPU speed. However, in 2023, it can’t quite keep up with flagships with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips.

Part of the reason is a steam chamber that is more than 25% bigger than the one in last year’s Realme GT. This helps keep the heat from the processor in check. Even after playing Black Desert Mobile for an hour, the phone never got too hot to touch. So, it was a shame that games could only run at 60fps, even when the faster-running GT mode was turned on.

Realme GT 2 Pro: Battery Life

Normal use of the phone drained 80% of the battery in 12 hours and 35 minutes with the screen on. This was better than the Galaxy S22 Ultra but not as good as the Oppo Find X5 Pro.

The GT 2 Pro can also be powered up quickly, in just over 30 minutes, thanks to its 65W fast charge. Still, it’s not a winner when it comes to the battery because the phone doesn’t have wireless charging, which is becoming more and more common on budget phones like the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G.

The most well-rounded phone Realme has made so far would be a great buy for someone who likes the phone’s unique selling points.
