The Xiaomi Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro are one of the most feature-packed sets of truly wireless earbuds available in their price range. They come in at a close second. The earphones were recently released in India a month ago, they have additional functions on top of those that one would normally expect to find in a cheap pair of TWS (True Wireless Stereo) headphones.
A dual-driver configuration is featured in the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro, and the manufacturer claims that this results in superior sound quality. Additionally, it has a battery life of up to 32 hours, Bluetooth 5.2 with compatibility for aptX Adaptive audio codecs, a USB Type-C port for charging, and an IPX4 rating for resistance to sweat. The question is, how well does it work in practise, And how do the OnePlus Buds Z, which are very popular, compare to these, In our review of the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro, we will attempt to answer that question.

Design and build quality

The Buds 3 Pro’s strange form was the first thing that caught my eye. We’ve seen earbuds without stems before, but these ones have a bigger part on the outside that gets smaller as it gets to the ear tip. From the side, it kind of looks like a cartoon character’s shoe, and that’s because these are Redmi’s most expensive headphones to date. They have active noise cancellation that should block up to 35dB of noise from the outside world. You can buy this earbuds from its official website
Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro: Sound quality
Even if you like sounds with a lot of bass, you might not like the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro because the low frequencies sound big. Also, there is no partner apps for smartphones that lets you use an equaliser to tune the sound. Another thing to note is that we didn’t really like how loud they could get. You might have to use them at full volume almost all the time, especially in places where there is a lot of noise.
Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro: Performance

The dynamic driver takes care of the low end of the frequency range, and the balanced armature takes care of the high end. This generally means that there is more space between sounds and that each sound has more details. The SBC, aptX, and aptX Adaptive codecs work with the earplugs, but the AAC codec does not.
This means that people who have an iPhone will have to use SBC. Now, the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro have great separation, good image, and a clear soundstage, but the tuning needs a lot of work. The mids and highs don’t stand out as much in the mix because the bass response is way too big.
Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro: Battery Life
The battery life is one of the best things about the Earbuds 3 Pro. Each earbud has a 43mAh battery, and when fully charged, they can be used for more than seven hours. That’s with the volume set to 75%, and you can easily get another hour of use by turning down the sound. The case can hold three more charges, so you can listen to music for up to 30 hours before you have to charge it again.
Price and Availability
During the launch event for the Redmi 10 Prime in the third quarter of 2021, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro to the market. The earphones originally retailed for a price of 2,999 ($40), but they can now be purchased on Amazon India for a price of 2,499 ($33).
Final Words
Redmi items are marketed as being good deals, and the Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro is a good example of this. Even though it doesn’t have active noise cancellation, it has two drivers, works with the aptX and aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codecs, and has a good battery life. Even though the sound quality isn’t quite as good as the specs say, it is still good enough to justify the price.
