With the Skullcandy PLYR, the audio company is back in the gaming headset market after a long break. And just like when Skullcandy was known as one of the biggest names in making the best gaming headsets, the Skullcandy PLYR is loud, bright, and polarising to look at. We can’t call it a cheap gaming headset or an affordable audio solution.

However, the fact that it can be used on multiple platforms, connects to Bluetooth, and has very comfortable cups does give it some value for the money. The audio giant Skullcandy just came out with three new headsets. The other two are the wired SLYR Pro for $100 and the wired SLYR for $60.
