It is only normal to anticipate a significant number of warning signs whenever a low-cost carrier-exclusive phone is introduced. T-Mobile has been releasing its own self-branded phones under the REVVL brand for a number of years now. As the spec-to-price value of these phones continues to rise, the company is seeing steadily improving outcomes as time goes on.
The most recent addition to this series is the REVVL 6 Pro 5G, which, because to its software, performance, and battery life, is quickly becoming one of the greatest low-cost phones I’ve ever used. The REVVL 6 Pro 5G is the newest member of this series.

T-Mobile Revvl 6 Pro: Design

The REVVL 6 Pro 5G does not take any chances with its design and instead opts for a style that is comparable to that of any other smartphone now available on the market. The back of the phone is made of a matte black plastic and has the T-Mobile logo imprinted in the middle. The camera module protrudes from the top left corner of the panel. A rim made of robust plastic that appears to be able to withstand a moderate drop without suffering significant damage can be found all the way around the edges. You can buy this phone from its official website
T-Mobile Revvl 6 Pro: Camera
Most gadgets these days come with two or three cameras on the back. The REVVL 6 Pro has a set of four cameras. The main lens is a huge 50MP, the ultra-wide lens is 5MP, and both the depth camera and the closeup camera are also 5MP.
When you take a picture with the main camera, 50MP is the default setting. The photos look good on the phone, but they look a little bit better on a big screen like a computer. The colours don’t look either too bright or too dull. So, if you’re going to look at photos on a better screen, they’re great. When it comes to picture quality, the ultra-wide lens is just like the other two.
Software and performance

The T-Mobile REVVL 6 Pro comes out with Android 12 and a user experience that looks a lot like Pixel’s. Google and T-Mobile worked together to make sure that the phone works best on T-Mobile’s network. As a result, the phone comes with a few T-Mobile apps and key Google apps already loaded. Our review unit has the Android security update from July 5, 2022, but it’s still unclear how well T-Mobile will support the REVVL with security and firmware patches. Since the phone is made by T-Mobile, I hope we get good help once the carrier is taken out of the approval process.
I was also trying a Google Pixel 6a at the same time, so the first thing I did with both the REVVL 6 Pro and the Google Pixel 6a was to see how well they got cell service. The T-Mobile REVVL beat the Pixel 6a easily in every low-to-high service area, which was enough to get me to send back my Pixel 6a. The REVVL’s cellular performance was 8 to 15 dBm better.
T-Mobile Revvl 6 Pro: Battery Life
T-Mobile says that the huge 5000mAh battery in the REVVL 6 Pro gives you about 33 hours of talk time or 27 days of backup time. Obviously, the battery life depends on how you use your phone every day. Still, a 5000mAh battery is pretty good for a device that costs less than $100.
We used the device for everyday things like exploring the web, sending text messages, switching between apps, and streaming videos once in a while. This was enough to keep me going all day and into the evening. It was around 11 PM when I got to about 10%. When I woke up in the morning, the phone was fully charged, so I did the same thing all over again, but not much changed.
Price and availability
T-Mobile is offering the REVVL 6 Pro 5G for only US$219.99 right now, which is a very reasonable price. If you want to buy this device, you’ll only have to pay $9.17 per month for 24 months. If you want to switch carriers or add a new line of service to an existing account, you can take advantage of the current offer to get it for $0 per month through 24 monthly bill credits.
Final Words
The T-Mobile REVVL 6 Pro is a cheap smartphone with many of the luxuries we’ve come to expect, but it’s missing some important features. If you only need a smartphone for the most basic tasks and want to save your money for something else, the REVVL 6 Pro is a good pick. But before you buy, make sure you don’t need anything special, like a phone that can run a visually demanding mobile game or play music (that actually sounds good) in the background while you do chores.
