I travel using TripIt for years. TripIt’s web app has stagnated, but its mobile apps have always helped me understand trip bookings.

TripIt is not an app that makes travel recommendations like Wanderlog; rather, it simply compiles all of the information that you already have prepared for your trip into a one location. Instead of planning and changing my own travel arrangements so that I could test out all of the features, I got a coworker to provide me their booking emails for their future business trip outside of the city. This allowed me to test out all of the features without having to book and change my own plans. I was able to observe real-time flight and travel updates pertaining to a coworker’s trip after the application quickly put a trip to the Not Traveller column on my home screen.
In addition, I was able to modify the manner in which the trip displayed information in accordance with my preferences about travel, auto rental, and hotel accommodations. I was able to instantly access or share every information of my trip and the trip of my coworkers with only a couple taps on my phone because to the convenience and quickness with which this software operates, and it is impossible to overstate how amazing both of these aspects are. After I had some actual information to work with, it was time to put the Pro Features to the test.
TripIt review: Seat Tracking
The first app I used was Seat Tracker. This convenient Pro feature enables you to set alerts for seating availability as well as any changes that may occur in seating in real time. As a result, you will be able to choose the best available seat or switch to a better one if one becomes available. When I selected to add a Seat Tracker, the application brought up a diagram of the airplane for the flight I had selected, and it highlighted the seat that was currently reserved for me.

With additional seat charges and frequent price changes, a single upgrade or refund easily covers the expense. Of course, if you travel frequently, the $49 is probably also a tax write-off because of how often you fly.
