We’ve been hard at work examining a slew of rugged smartphones over the past few months, including the Ulefone Armour 16 Pro, the Ulefone Power Armor 17 Pro, and now, the 18T. Here are some highlights from those reviews. It would be simple to jump to the conclusion that the number progression represented a hierarchy of performance requirements, but doing so would be oversimplifying the situation.
Although there aren’t a lot of parallels between this and the 16 Pro and the 17 Pro, the 18T does take some features from its predecessor. Ulefone Power Armor 18T: Design
The 18T avoids some of the travel cover looks that are branded on other goods, making it a very elegant option when it comes to robust phone designs. The edge of the 18T has been beveled all the way around, making it easy to pick up. Additionally, the 18T has angled grooves on the underside, which make it comfortable to grasp even when it is wet.
The USB-C connector on the bottom edge and the 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge are both protected by two rubber plugs to achieve a level of waterproofing that is sufficient for submersion. If you charge your device wirelessly, you won’t have to worry about upsetting the USB-C port, and if you use Bluetooth headphones, you won’t have to worry about the audio jack either.

Like the Armor 17 Pro, the screen has a 120Hz 1080P LCD panel. Most hard models don’t pay much attention to what the screen looks like, but instead focus on how tough they are. So it’s not unusual for a tough phone to have a screen with 60Hz refresh rate and 720P resolution. Now, the Armor series takes the best parts of both and puts them together. Corning Gorilla Glass, which is hard to break or scratch, covers the screen to make it last longer.

The Ulefone Power Armor 18T is a tough, long-lasting smartphone. It has a huge 9600mAh battery that can last for days, a triple-lens camera system with a thermal camera, a 108MP main camera, and a microscope, and a fingerprint sensor that can be used to unlock the phone. Final Words
The Ulefone 18T is by no means a cheap smartphone. It can cost up to $700 when you add extras, so we can’t just tell you to buy it because it works well. It works about as well as anything else, but because it has more features, it costs more.
Ruggedization adds a small cost because it makes the phone more durable, but the thermal imaging camera is a big part of the price. The tiny camera is a bit of a gimmick, but it could help find problems in electric parts.
