As was already said, this is the same body as the Elite Series 2 controller. Even the rubberized wrap-around grips are the same, and they are always comfy. The Core model has a white face, while the Elite Series 2 has a completely black face. This is the biggest change in terms of design.
Aside from that, the style is the same, which will be familiar and welcome to any Xbox controller fan. One reason we really like this design is that, whether it was done on purpose or not, the cheaper Core model is a great match for the Xbox Series S design. However, the full potential of the hardware is not realized without the included extras in the expensive Elite Series 2 package.
