Only a camera, earpiece, and proximity sensor disturb the head of the phone whereas a rectangular ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is flanked to both sides by capacitive navigation buttons beneath the display.

Hardware and Performance
Powering Xiaomi’s latest is Qualcomm’s latest SoC, the Snapdragon 821, helped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Although this is the top tier version. Xiaomi has otherwise upped the base storage to 64GB whereas RAM stays static at 3GB. During initial set-up and use, the phone started overheating and became hot to the touch – not a reassuring sign. It did subside finally, with much less overheating and CPU throttling than many different devices available on the market right now. As anticipated, the Mi 5s is a first-class performer in most areas, and the re’s no slowing down no matter how many Apps you wish to open.

The Mi5s is fitted with the Sony IMX378, which is also used by the Google Pixel. It has a 12.3Mp camera with a f/2.0 aperture and phase-detection autofocus, also capable of capturing 4K video. Theselfie camera hasn’t modified, and the Mi5s continues to be fitted with a 4Mp camera at the front.
Battery Life
The battery capacity has also been increased from 3000mAh to 3200mAh, however, given the more highly effective it’s unlikely you’ll see a big impression on runtime – perhaps an extra hour when you’re lucky. This supports super-fast charging with Fast Charge 3.0, and relying on your usage should simply be good for a day’s use.
Conclusion
Launching the Mi5s, Xiaomi performs a successful update to the Mi5, which however isn’t decreased to a discontinued model. The increase in efficiency thanks to the Snapdragon 821 isn’t noticeable in practice. Customers get an absolute high-end device with fast speed and limitless gaming efficiency buying a Xiaomi Mi5 as well as a Mi5s. Additionally, the Xiaomi Mi5s’s design including ultrasound fingerprint scanner and metal casing is more strong and long-lasting than the one of the Mi5.
