It comes ready to mount inside its TPU bumper and with a screen protector already on it, but this will need to be taken off to get to the SIM slots. Most phones use a single frame that can hold two SIMs, so having two physical SIM slots seems like an unnecessary extra step. The layout of the buttons is something we’re all used to. The power button is on the right, next to the volume controls, and a key that can be used for anything is on the left. 

The BlackBerry Key2 is a screen-and-keyboard tool made for the most successful people in the workplace. It looks even better made than the KeyOne. This time, it comes in all black or silver and black colors from the start. This time, you don’t have to wait for the Black Edition. It’s interesting to see that most phone makers don’t use sensors that can record 4K video, or if they do, like the Samsung S5KGM1 used here, they don’t put it in the camera app. We’ve already guessed why the highest video resolution is 1080p, but the sensor isn’t being used to its full potential when it comes to capturing video.

With a maximum resolution of 8000 x 6000, the Samsung S5KGM1 does a great job with still pictures. But since it’s the only sensor, you can’t use extra sensors and optics to take better macro photos or change the depth of field.

On the back of the phone is a dual camera array with a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8MP selfie camera on the front of the phone. The back cameras work well when there is a lot of light, but some background detail is lost.

On the other hand, photos taken in low light aren’t very good. Our test photos were grainy and noisy, and the background was very blurry. The results are disappointing, but that’s not too surprising given that the lenses have such small openings (f/1.7 for the OnePlus 6T).

The battery life is fine and is likely to get better as more software tweaks are made. The 4,100mAh battery let me use the screen for 8 hours and 20 minutes at the most bright setting. By default, Unihertz phones show the percentage of battery life in the status bar, which is helpful. I’d rather charge at a faster rate than 10W, though.

The Key2 has a 3500mAh battery, which is a big one. Depending on how you use it, the battery will last anywhere from one to two days. It’s easy to get through a day, but if we’re being picky, it’s not as good as the KeyOne, which we often used for two full days. The Key2 keeps going for a second day, but by lunchtime, we were reaching for a charger.
