How to Make an Email Tem­plate in Gmail – Guide

Emails are designed to help people communicate faster, but they can be time consuming, especially if you frequently send similar types of emails.

Assuming you have Gmail, you can activate and create templates to speed up those pesky emails. You can also create channels to send templates automatically when channel needs are met. That’s what you want to know to make it happen.

Create an email template

Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Select “View All Settings”.

Open the “Advanced” tab.

Scroll down to “Templates” and select “Enable”.

Click on “Save Changes” at the bottom of the menu.

This will take you back to your inbox. Click on the “Compose” button button.

Now start sketching your model. When you’re ready to save it, click on the three dots in the lower-right corner of the window.

Select “Model” from the options.

Click on “Save draft as template”.

Click on “Save as new template”.

Enter a name for your model in the window that appears. up. This name will appear as the subject line of your email. Click on “Save”.

If you want to make changes to a template, you must overwrite it. Write a corrected email and after clicking on “Save draft as template”, click on the name of the template you want to change under “Replace template”.

Click “Save” on the pop-up window.

To delete a template, click “Delete Template” in the “Templates” options. Click “Delete” on the pop-up window.

Use a saved template

Click “Compose” to start a new message.

Open “Templates”.

Choose the template.

This template will now appear as your new message and you can edit it before sending.

Click “Submit” when you’re done!
