How to hide, pin and filter chats in MS Teams

In Mobile

Open the Microsoft Teams app on your mobile, go to the “Chat” tab in the bottom menu, find the conversation you want to correct or hide and press your finger briefly on it.

In the lower menu that opens, select “Pin chat” or “Hide chat”.

back to home screen, tap the “Filter” icon in the upper right corner.

In the menu that opens, select whether to filter by unread conversations, muted conversations or meetings.

Once that’s done, locate the conversation through the filter you’ve chosen. To finish the search, just click on the “X” next to the filter.

Open the Microsoft Teams app on your PC and find the conversation you want to pin, click on the “Three dots” on the side and select “Place”. If you want to undo the action, just open the same menu and select “Unpin”.

To hide a conversation, just click on the “Three dots” and select “Hide”.

To find a hidden conversation, search for it. If desired, click “Three dots” and select “Unhide”.

For a more detailed search of the conversations, click on the “Filter” icon in the upper corner of the “Chat” section.
