A significant shift occurred in the realm of inkjet printers with the introduction of refillable ink tanks, a departure from the traditional disposable cartridges. Epson’s EcoTank was one of the first of these kinds of innovations. It worked like the print delivery systems that were made to fight the high costs and waste of cartridge printing. Epson and HP both still make printers that use cartridges, but HP has come up with its own way to handle refilling ink tanks. It’s called Smart Tank. The HP Smart Tank 5015 is an all-in-one printer that combines an inkjet frame with a flatbed scanner.
This lets you copy, scan, and print without having to switch between different machines. It can handle different kinds of paper, including A4, legal, and smaller sizes. Depending on the thickness of the paper, the input tray can hold up to 100 sheets. This is a good step toward more environmentally friendly and cost-effective ways to print, which will give users more freedom and ease. Inkjet printers like the Epson EcoTank and the HP Smart Tank are changing the market in a big way.

HP Smart Tank 5105: User Experience

The EcoTank ET-1810 is an Epson printer that is the same as the HP 5105. It comes with four 65ml bottles of ink, for a total of 260ml. The HP 5105 comes with one 135ml bottle of black ink and three 50ml bottles of color ink. This is 15ml more ink total, but there are fewer colors.
For those who are asking, HP doesn’t sell 50ml bottles of color ink. The standard size is 70ml. These 50ml bottles look a lot like the “starter” ink refills that HP loves so much. Epson, on the other hand, likes to ship its EcoTank printers with standard-capacity ink.
HP Smart Tank 5105: Print speed
The HP Smart Tank 5105 was the first HP printer that I have successfully set up and tested without any complications. In our tests, we found that it took 35 seconds to print the first page of text and exactly one minute to print five pages.
When printing many copies of the same page, printers typically speed up. This test showed that the 5105 could print the first page of text in 16 seconds and an average of 10.9 pages per minute. That’s not quick, but it should be adequate for a home printer in your price range. This printer was able to produce five copies of a page containing both text and graphics at a rate of 4.5 pages per minute. You can buy this printer from its official website
HP Smart Tank 5105: Performance

Even though some of the results are slow, most users will probably find it worth the wait. This MFP makes great prints on plain paper. The black text is bold and looks almost like it was cut with a laser. It’s also a good color graphics printer, with bright colors and not much banding or graining.
Even though they took a long time to make, picture prints weren’t as good because the colors were sometimes a little washed out. Our black-and-white test print had a slight greenish tint. It wasn’t terrible, but if picture quality was most important to you, you wouldn’t choose this printer.
Final Words
Set aside the price for a moment. The Smart Tank 5105 is a near-entry level gadget, even though it costs a lot. Keep this in mind, and it should give you good results in a fair amount of time. Its best feature is how good the plain paper is, and its worst feature is how slow color printing is. Even though it’s simple, it’s easy to use and worked well in all of our tests.
When you think about the price, the 5105 needs a little more explanation. It costs three or four times as much as a similar cartridge-based printer, but it comes with enough ink for 6,000 pages, which could save you up to £400 before you need to buy more bottles.

FAQS
HP Smart Tank printers come with a full set of ink bottles, which is enough ink for almost 2 years. Each bottle of ink can print between 4,000 and 8,000 pages.
HP Smart is a nice app. It has a number of features that require the program to know about the printer and the HP account. Still, you don’t have to use HP Smart. Check and install the Full Feature Software/Full Driver Software if you haven’t already.
