The Bissel Featherweight is a cheap stick cleaner that didn’t do very well in our tests. It is by no means the easiest or most handy model on the market. During our tests, its ability to clean left a lot to be desired. This vacuum is for people who are on a tight budget but still want a good cleaner.
This model didn’t do a good job of cleaning rugs. It worked pretty well with rice and oatmeal, but not so well with pet hair, cereal, and flour. On the thin carpet, it left about a dozen grains, but on the second pass, it cleaned up most of them. It was very hard for it to move on the fluffy carpet, and it took almost ten passes. When it came to pet hair, flour, and cereal, it didn’t work well and wasn’t a good way to clean these messes on thin or fluffy rugs.

The CrossWave Cordless Max has the most features and is the most expensive of the CrossWave line. It can vacuum and wash supported floors (and some area rugs) at the same time. This device will not be as powerful as dry vacuums and carpet cleaners that are made specifically for those tasks. Instead, it will be made for everyday use.
Overall, this vacuum works well for general cleaning, both when it’s wet and when it’s dry. Its motor is not as strong as those of dedicated dry vacuums or mops, but the fact that it is portable and can be used every day makes up for that. It doesn’t do a good job of cleaning narrow grout, but because the dirty water is sucked up right away, the grout looks better than when you use a normal mop.
