There are currently over a billion people using Android devices, and many of them enjoy playing games on their devices. Have you ever thought about playing PSP games on your Android device? You can play Play Station Portable on your Android mobiletherefore it is doable. This is possible with some emulators specifically designed for playing PSP games on an Android device. Because they allow Android smartphones to run PSP games. So to get started, take a look at the whole tutorial listed below.
Step 1- Download a game ROM
There is a legal gray area when it comes to downloading ROMs due to copyright and intellectual property issues. As such, we cannot link to specific ROMs or even download sites. If you went to google Emuparadise or CoolROM to search up PSP games, however, we certainly wouldn’t stop it.
After choosing a website, look up a game you are interested in playing and download it. Technically, you must have a physical copy of the game you want to play, so proceed with caution. Read the instructions carefully and make sure you select the correct download link on the page. Once the download starts, you will see the download icon in the status bar and you can follow the download progress in the notification tray. After downloading the file, make sure the file size on your device matches what was posted on the website. Once this is verified, proceed to the next step.
Step 2 – Extract the game file
After downloading the game, you will have to extract the RAR, 7Z, ZIP, etc. file. to access the ISO file.
Once the folder extraction is complete, scroll through the files inside to make sure there are no other files that need to be extracted. If you find another zipped file, be sure to extract that too. After seeing the ISO file, you can exit Easy Unrar.
Step 3 – Start the game
The hard part is out of the way, so now it’s time to play! Open up UltraPSP, tap on the keyboard control symbol and select “Games”. Select the “Home” button, then open your download folder. Note that you have the option to view your selections in grid or list format. In the larger green boxes (folders), tap the title of the game you unzipped – not the actual RAR or ZIP, whatever the file. In my case, it’s Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.
If you only had to unzip a zipped file, you should see an image of the game title cover in a folder box. Otherwise, tap the game folder title again until you see the game cover image. Once you see the image, just tap it to start the game.
Step 4 – Play!
Now, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. As you can see below, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is working perfectly on my device. The controls will be superimposed on the game itself, which is how all other video game console emulators work. It takes some getting used to, but you can always pair a PS4 controller with yours. phone or tablet if you just can’t get the hang of it.
