Adding a new Telegram account

Open Telegram X or Telegram on your smartphone and tap the hamburger icon in the top left corner of the app. Now, tap on ‘Add Account’ just below the existing account name.

Now enter the mobile number you will use in Telegram and tap the forward button or the checkmark on the numeric keypad.

After entering the number, you will receive a confirmation code via SMS. If you are already using Telegram with the same number on a different device, you can also get the confirmation code from Telegram that is installed on your previous device.
