How to Book a Rental Car on the Expedia App – Guide

Expedia offers travelers a simple way to book B&Bs and flights. Regardless of where you want to visit, Expedia helps with motion booking game plans. Expedia can also be a beneficial app/website for people interested in booking a rental vehicle. The interaction to book a rental isn’t confusing, but customers should take a few extra steps to ensure they’re getting the best deal. How to Book a rental car on the Expedia app

Go to www.expedia.com in your browser (if you haven’t already) and click on Cars in the top menu.

You will use the window on the left side of the screen to set things up up. First, click on one of the buttons near the top to select the services you want to book together. Then click on each of the boxes below and type or select your optionup point, date and time. Do the same for the delivery point, date and time on the boxes.

You can also click the “Car Type” drop-down menu if you are looking for a specific type of car, such as a convertible or SUV. If you have a preference as to which company you rent your car from, you can indicate this in the drop-down menu marked “Car rental company”. The last drop-down menu allows you to select a discount to apply to your rental, if one is available. After filling out the form, click Search.

On the next screen, you will see a chart with the different car classes and different rental companies available. You can click Previous or Next buttons in the upper right corner to see more options for companies, if any. Click on the option in the grid that you want to continue.

There are two other main things you need to do to book your car rental. The first is deciding whether or not you want additional collision coverage. You can get additional coverage from Expedia, or you can get it directly from the car rental company, or just rely on your own car insurance. Click on the respective buttons next to “Yes, add this plan” or “No, decline insurance” to make your choice.

The second thing to do is enter your contact information so that Expedia or the car rental company can confirm your reservation and contact you if necessary. Click in the “Driver’s Name” box and enter your first and last name. Then click on the “Email address” box and enter the email address you want Expedia to send your booking confirmation to. Finally, in the box “Phone Number”, click the flag to select your country from the drop-down menu (so Expedia and the rental company know the country code to use if they need to phone you), click the box next to the flag and enter your phone number.
