Change your wallpaper. You can make the image behind your apps in home screen pretty much anything you want. A favorite photo of your kids or spouse or the logo of your favorite team are just a few options. Find the wallpaper settings by going to Settings -> Wallpaper -> Choose a new wallpaper.

Use live wallpaper or video. Want something really attractive? Use live wallpapers instead. There are some limitations, but this is pretty cool. Go to Settings -> Wallpaper -> Choose a new wallpaper -> choose Dynamic or Live.

You can create separate “pages” for different types of apps or different uses by tapping and holding apps or folders and dragging them off the right edge of the screen.
