How to Customize Control Center on MacBook – Guide
You might see something similar in the menu bar if you’ve recently purchased a new iMac. Apple ported the iOS Control Center to the Mac and released it with macOS 11 Big Sur. Its symbol appears on the right side of the menu bar (next to Siri, it’s the stacked pair of power buttons) and gives you access Quick access to network, screen brightness and volume options. Control Center can be used to remove items from the menu bar if it gets too cluttered. You can, for example, use the Manage Center to control the sound volume and then delete the volume control menu bar item.

Control Center standard control modules
The following controls are available in Control Center by default:
