Skype functionality is integrated across all Echo Show devices, you just need to login and connect your Skype account in your Alexa app on your phone, to use the feature.
Start by opening the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone. Tap More button in the lower right corner of the screen. Scroll down and open the Settings page.
In Alexa’s preferences, find and tap Communication. Here you find Skype button, just tap + button to start the setup.
You would need to enter your Skype credentials on the screen that appears. After logging in, grant all permissions by tapping the “Yes” button button at the bottom of the page. This would sync your contacts with the Alexa app. This would make your calling process extremely simple.
Now you can simply ask Alexa to call someone on Skype and if they are in your contact list Alexa will initiate the call. You can even ask Alexa to answer and end calls with voice commands.
