How to Enable Visual Desktop Notifications in Windows – Guide
There are several system programs in Microsoft Windows that play a sound to notify you of anything. It could be an error or a notification sound related to the task, such as a print job. However, there are occasions when you lose sound, probably because you are sitting too far away from your computer or not psychologically present in front of it. Windows can provide visual cues to let you know when a sound has been produced. On Windows, you can enable this setting in the Ease of Access Center.
How to enable visual notifications in windows?
You can test flash desktop notification by enabling StickyKeys. Press the Shift key consecutively for five times and you will see a flash on the screen. The flash screen for visual notification will also appear for other system sounds.
To reset what you’ve done, just uncheck the Enable visual notifications for sounds (Sound Sentry) checkbox.
You can also enable text subtitles for sounds in Windows if you don’t like the alien flash notifications. To do this, select the Enable Text Captions for Spoken Dialog (when available) checkbox.
