How to Hide a drive in Windows 10 using Disk Management

Press Windows key + R, type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter to open Disk Management.

Right click on the drive you want to hide and select “Change drive letters and paths”.

Now select the drive letter and click on the Remove button button.

If prompted for confirmation, select Yes to continue.

Now again right click on the drive above and select “Change drive letters and paths”.

Select the drive and click the Add button button.

Then select the option “Mount to the following empty NTFS folder” and click Browse button.

Browse to the location where you want to hide your drive, for example C:Program FileDrive and click OK.

Press Windows key + E to open File Explorer and navigate to the above location where you mounted the drive.

Now right-click the mount point (which will be the Drive folder in this example) and select Properties.

Make sure you select the General tab and under Attributes, check “Hidden”.

Click Apply, check “Apply changes to this folder only” and click OK.

After following the above steps correctly, the drive will no longer be displayed.
