How to Import Book­marks and Pass­words From Chrome to Firefox Browser – Guide

Or you can always move them manually. Fortunately, there is a third option that lets you move your Firefox bookmarks and settings to Chrome. This is an import tool in Firefox browser so you don’t have to mess with third party apps to move everything.

Import bookmarks and other data from Google Chrome

click on the menu button Fx89menuButton to open the menu panel. Click Favorites and then click the Manage Favorites bar at the bottom.

On the Library window toolbar, click Import and Backup and choose Import Data from Another Browser…

Another way to import from another browser is to enable the menu bar (press Alt on your keyboard to temporarily enable it), click File in the menu bar at the top of the Firefox window and select Import from another browser….

In the Import Wizard window that appears, select Chrome and click Next.

Firefox will list the types of settings and information it can import. Select the items you want to import.

Cookies: Small pieces of information stored on your computer by some websites that are used to keep you logged in, store your options, or do other things.

Browsing history: Information about the websites visited.

Saved passwords: Your usernames and passwords that Chrome remembered.

Bookmarks: Web pages you’ve saved to your Chrome bookmarks.

Click Next to import the selected items. The wizard shows what was imported.

Click Finish to close the window. The items you selected should now be available.

Because Chrome saves bookmarks to the Bookmarks toolbar by default, you should be able to find your imported bookmarks in a folder called From Google Chrome on the Firefox Bookmarks toolbar.
