How to link Yeelight White lamp to Amazon Alexa.

  • We need to add Yeelight skill to Alexa. To do this, open the Alexa app and from the main menu select ‘Skills’.
  • In the skill search bar, type ‘Yeelight’. In the results, select ‘Yeelight’.
  • Then tap ‘Enable’. You will be taken to a login page for your Mi account. Enter your Mi account login credentials and login.
  • After logging in, you will see a message saying Yeelight has been successfully linked to Alexa.
  • Go back to the Alexa app. A prompt will appear asking if you would like to discover devices. Tap ‘DISCOVER DEVICES’.
  • In this example, we should discover the Yeelight lamp. Upon discovery, you should be able to see the Yeelight LED lamp listed under devices.
  • And we’re done! Now test by saying “Alexa, turn on the yellow light”.
