How to make a Subproject in Todoist – Guide
With subprojects, you can keep your ever-growing project list nice and structured. Create “parent” projects called “Work” and “Personal”, for example, and then organize several subprojects below each one. You can temporarily hide subprojects by collapsing them into their “parent” projects. This allows you to focus on relevant projects at the right time, without being sidetracked by other distractions.
How to turn a project into a subproject
- Mouse over a project.
- Click and hold the gray handle that appears to the left of the project.
- Drag and drop left or right to change its indentation level.
You can also create subtasks within projects to break large tasks into smaller, more manageable tasks.
Make a Subproject
- Touch and hold a project and drag it left or right to change its indent level.
- To add a subproject, right-click an existing project and select “Add Indent Below”.
