How to quickly level up guns in COD: Vanguard – Guide
In Call of Duty: Vanguard, the best methods to acquire XP, level up weapons and classification up operators.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is here, which is great, but being Level 1 is not. You’re stuck with standard classes, you can’t use your favorite firearms, and your weapons don’t have any worthwhile accessories in low-ranking territory. Gross! If you want to get out of that purgatory as quickly as possible (which you do), you must acquire XP as soon as possible.
Fortunately, Vanguard has some useful additions this year to make the XP routine a little easier. Here are our best strategies for leveling up quickly, classification up operators and get the most XP from your weapon.
HOW TO LEVEL UP FAST IN CALL OF DUTY: VANGUARD
Stick to the Blitz Combat Pace
You know like in all previous Call of Duty, the best way to level up Full weapons or challenges is it playing chaotic Shipment / Nuketown matches 24/7? This is basically how Blitz combat pace setting is all the time. By filtering your Quick Match only to “Blitz”, you are maximizing the player count for each selected game mode (usually 12v12).
On smaller maps, like the World at War remastered from the Dome, this means there’s virtually zero downtime between firefights. It can be a little frustrating to be the target of constant gunfire (at this point, spawn kills are frequent), but constant action is the fastest way to mow down XP with a weapon or complete specific challenges. And if you want to trigger up at 11, Free-for-All is probably your best bet.
Complete the easiest challenges first
In Vanguard, career challenges are grouped into individual challenge groups. Each individual challenge is worth a few thousand XP, but completing a pack of them earns an incredible 10,000 XP.
For that reason, it’s advisable to target one package at a time to get to the 10,000 bonus faster. The packs seem to be organized by general difficulty, so I recommend starting with Boot Camp and Counter Measures. Boot Camp Challenges are super general tasks that you can complete by accident (like “Win 25 Matches”) with just a few that require extra effort. The hardest one is probably “Get 35 Mounted Kills”, unless you’re one of the few CoD players that uses this. feature quite.
Countermeasures aren’t bad either, although it’s harder than Boot Camp. These challenges center on destroying enemy equipment such as field upgrades and killstreaks. The only one that can hinder you is “Destroy an enemy mine or C4.” You’re a little out of luck if these devices don’t prove popular, and I haven’t seen them in use so far.
Unlock Double XP in Battle Pass
At launch, Call of Duty: Vanguard is running a “preseason” battle pass in the race. up for its first proper season of content in early December. Most battle pass unlocks are unique to the War Zone and Cold War, but there are several free levels along the way that unlock small bonuses in Vanguard (even if you don’t buy the premium pass). Some of them are Double XP tokens:
Again, you don’t need to buy premium battle access ($9.99) to get these tokens, but it will be faster if you do. You can also play Warzone or Cold War to work on these layers if you prefer.
