How to revert search photos on PC/Mobile – Guide

Image search is the ability to search for a term and find images related to what you typed. Most search engines offer this, and it’s great. But what if you have an image and want to know where it comes from? Or find similar photos? This is the reverse image search.

Reverse Google Image Search is very easy on a desktop computer. Go to images.google.com, click on camera icon and paste the URL of an image you viewed online, load an image from your hard drive, or drag an image from another window.

Here are the steps to revert the search photos on PC and Mobile

How to reverse Google image search in desktop browsers using PC or Mac

  • Navigate to the Google Images main page.
  • In the search bar, click on the camera icon with the alt ‘search by image’. This will give you a new search screen offering two options.
  • Option 1 is ‘Paste Image URL’, which allows you to use the URL of an image you found on the internet.
  • Option 2 is ‘Upload an Image’, which allows you to upload an image from your computer to use as a search item.
  • Whichever option you choose, after entering the URL or uploading the image, you simply click search to display the results.

  • Find the image you want to search on the page where you originally found it.
  • Right click on the image.
  • Select ‘Search Image on Google’.
  • Google will then display your search results.

  • In the Bing search bar, click the Visual Search button button. This is the point surrounded by four corner lines. Will open a pop-up menu.
  • This menu offers a selection of options to choose from: (“Upload” – allows you to drag an image into the box and upload it from your computer. Allows you to upload more than one image at a time or “Take a photo ” – allows you to use your webcam to take a picture.)

  • Browse to images.google.com.
  • Tap the three-dot menu in the lower right corner of the screen
  • Select ‘request desktop site’.
