The first step to get started with this process is to launch the Instagram app on your iOS phone. Go straight to your messaging section. You can easily find your DM section in the upper right section of the screen.

Open the chat box of the person you want to save Instagram audio message on iPhone. Scroll to the audio message.

Open your iPhone’s control panel by swiping from the top right corner. When the control panel opens uptap ‘Record’ button.
