You can save posts on Instagram so that you can easily look them up later. It’s something we use all the time. Posts can be saved for many reasons. Even better, Instagram lets you put your saved posts into neat groups called “Collections.”
The “save posts” feature is useful and one of the most-used features because it makes it easy to look back at a post in the near future. It means that you can find your trip memories quickly. With the save collection feature, you have full control over how you organize and save your photos.
But some Instagram users miss out on this feature’s benefits because it doesn’t always work on their device. In this post, we’ll talk about some of the most common Instagram Collection problems and show you how to fix them.
Fix: ‘Instagram Save to Collection Not Working’ Issue
Close and Re-launch Instagram
If you’ve already updated your app and are still having problems, then try this method. Just shut it, wait a few minutes, and then open it again. When a lot of apps are running at the same time, the smartphone may hang. So, it’s possible that some apps won’t work. This way of fixing a problem should make a difference and get Instagram’s save feature working again.
Uninstall and Re-install Instagram
- Tap on Hamburger menu > select My Apps & Games > tap on Installed
- Tap on Instagram from the list of apps that are installed on your phone.
- In the next screen, tap on Uninstall.
Clear Cache (for Android)
If the Instagram app is broken, you can also fix it by clearing the app’s cache. This will get rid of any old or broken files or data that are stopping the Instagram app from saving posts to collections. This will also make the app run better and free up space on your Android device.
To clear the Instagram app’s cache, open the Android Settings menu and go to Apps & Notification > App info > Instagram > Storage & Cache and tap the Clear Cache button.
