Microsoft’s third-party keyboard for iOS, SwiftKey, is back on the App Store just weeks after the company announced it was shutting down the app and removing it from the platform.
In September, Microsoft announced that his SwiftKey for iOS was shut down and removed from the “App Store” for no apparent reason.
SwiftKey is a popular alternative to Apple’s standard iOS keyboard for iPhone users, and many are disappointed with the decision. Now, in a few weeks, based on customer feedback, Microsoft says it will bring the app back to the App Store.
“Based on customer feedback, SwiftKey iOS has been relisted on the Apple App Store.” The news was also shared on Twitter, where a Microsoft employee teased users to “stay up to date” on what’s new with the app.
