GoPro has come a long way since it released its first action camera in 2004. That camera won the hearts of both adventurers and daredevils. GoPro has moved away from more niche features that made it hard for casual creators to get into the action camera market. GoPro fans will recognize some of the tools in the Hero 11 Black action camera from the Hero 9 and 10. With a more creator-focused approach, someone like me, who is definitely not “in action,” has a new option to try.

Where to get GoPro HERO11 camera?
We can now use HyperView, which GoPro says makes ‘ultra-immersive’ videos that work best for action POV, big selfies, and large spaces in tight areas. Think about building. The GoPro Quik app will also soon get an update that will let users switch between all the digital lens options after the fact. So you don’t have to change it if you leave it on one setting.
If you’re rock climbing or snowboarding, you might not be able to get to buttons easily. When voice commands are turned on, you can say “GoPro, start recording” to start a video clip. The camera also makes a loud beep when it starts or stops a clip, and a red tally lamp that blinks shows that it’s rolling.
The new sensor is the most important and noticeable change. It’s a little bit bigger, but only on the vertical, so the ratio is 8:7. Previous models could shoot in both 16:9 and 4:3, but the Hero 11 is better for shooting vertical video because it can now shoot in 8:7. It makes life easier for TikTok users because you can now shoot in 8:7, crop to vertical for platforms that use that abomination, and also crop to 16:9 for sharing videos in a normal way.
Aside from the sensor, the Hero 11 Black has a stronger and more durable battery that is made to handle more extreme weather. The Hero line has had problems with short and unreliable battery life for a while, so this update couldn’t have come at a better time. I say this because the camera has a lot of new modes and ways to shoot that are both fun and power hungry.
