How To Fix USB pen drive shows less Space than Actual

Yesterday my friend have a problem when he trying to boot his Pendrive it’s shown the less Space than Actual. He has 16GB Pendrive, But the Windows show him only the 2 GB free space. He has already formatted the Pendrive, but it again show him 2GB space. So, he asks me about the solution that how to Fix USB pen drive shows less Space than Actual.

Below is the step to solving how to Fix USB pen drive shows less Space than Actual.

Step 1: Run CMD (Command Prompt) as administrator.

Step 2:  Type-  DISKPART and Press the Enter KEY

Step 3: Type list disk

Now the disk list showing below.

Step 4: Type- select disk 2

Disk 2 is now the selected disk.

Note: I am select disk 2 because my Pendrive location is showing in disk 2.

Step 5: Type clean and hit the Enter Button.

DiskPart succeeded in cleaning the disk.

Step 6: Again Type- create partition primary.

DiskPart succeeded in creating the specified partition.

Step 7: Type exit and Press the Enter Key.
