    Hide Photos on Samsung Android Phone

    Samsung devices running on Android OS below Nogat come with a feature called Private Mode. switching to this feature will allow you to lock and hide photos in the Gallery app. See how you can do this.

  • Open Settings, scroll down to Privacy & Security and open Private Mode.

  • Hide Photos on LG Android Phone

    Even LG smartphones come with the feature which allows you to hide the photos. Here, check these steps.

  • Open Settings, scroll down to Fingerprints & Security and select Content Blocking.
  • Select the type of lock you want to use Password or PIN. Once done, you can also switch to using fingerprints.
  • Now open the Gallery app and go to the media folder you want to hide.
  • Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Lock for options.
  • Once done, select multiple photos that you want to hide and tap Lock.
  • To access these lock files, open the Gallery app, tap the three dots and select Show locked files. You will be asked to enter the password, PIN or fingerprint and then you will be able to access the hidden photos.
  • Hide using file manager on Android

    You can also use a file manager to manually create a hidden folder and move your sensitive files into it. This method is useful, but not the best option when it comes to perfect organization and visualization. Here check out the steps.

  • Open the file manager on your Android device.
  • Create a folder that starts with a period followed by a name. For example .nomedia.
  • Once done, move the photos you want to hide in this folder and they will be hidden in Gallery or any other photo app.
